Co-lecture with Gy Yatros, DMD
Airway analysis using CBCT can provide valuable insights into the role of 3D imaging as it relates to airway evaluation. Compromised airways often contribute to bruxism which can lead to treatment challenges. Many of our patients have obstructed airways and garnering a comprehensive view can guide dentists to more predictable restorative outcomes. What we can't see can hurt our patients and our treatment success. We'll review the landmarks important to airway analysis while discussing how this knowledge impacts treatment planning and leads to discussions about sleep disordered breathing with our patients.
